Convoy of Champions
To celebrate EMS Week 2020, a parade of 50 ambulances, representing more than 20,000 paramedics, EMTs, and 911 dispatchers, traveled from UMass Medical Center in Worcester to the warning track inside Fenway Park.
Fatima’s Story
Fatima has always wanted to work in an emergency setting, helping people when they need it most. When she was in college, Fatima heard classmates talking about the chaos and satisfaction they experienced as EMTs. She was hooked and is now in her second year as an EMT at Armstrong Ambulance.
Sesen’s Story
Sesen has been an EMT for almost two years. She loves her job because of the ability to provide medical assistance, something she has always been interested in. Someday, she hopes to become a Physician’s Assistant.
Kyle’s Story
Kyle is a paramedic supervisor for the city of Medford with Armstrong Ambulance. He’s been an EMS professional for six years.
Stacy’s Story
Stacy has been an emergency medical dispatcher for 23 years, and she can't think of a more rewarding and enjoyable profession. She loves her job.
